Improving Yourself
I want one of those Microsoft Surface Pro computers. A very fast one, with lots of extra memory. Both Apple and Microsoft have great products. iCloud and Microsoft Azure make them even more powerful and useful.
Every once in a while I get envious and want to get into Windows, because it is so powerful and useful and Azure is such a cool name. I think about learn a whole new set of languages, ASP .NET, etc., instead of the Linux I’m so familiar with. The advantage of the free and open source software is the freedom to configure it any way you want to. To modify it, to upgrade it.
Private property is a good idea. This idea of leasing your software from a corporation has its advantages. Microsoft has some really great software, but the freedom that you gain from actually owning the software on your computer is very valuable in itself.
Its up to you whether you want to build your free enterprise on a proprietary platform owned by Microsoft or Apple, or on your own private property, owned by you. Each way has its advantages.
There is nothing at all wrong with hiring a corporation that specializes in building high performance information technology platforms, to build and maintain the IT Platform you build your business on. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, so to speak.
Owning the means of production is the reason I use Linux. I want to own the software on my computer. I don’t like the GPL, much more than I like the Microsoft User Agreement. I prefer the BSD or MIT licenses. When I buy a computer its mine. That includes the hardware and the software.
Private property is one of the fundamental ingredients of free enterprise. Buy assets. Assets earn income. Liabilities cost money, assets make money. Own your means of production.
Concentrate on learning ZSH and Vim, Python, PostgreSql, Nginx, HTML, CSS and Javascript, Flask, Django, Zurb-Foundation and Vue. There are many other options. Learn how to use these tools to build your own private information technology platform. Study and learn how to develop, operate, maintain and repair your own artificial intelligence.
Get familiar with Git and SSH. Get your computer science platform connected to our global cloud of artificial intelligence. There are quite a few options for hosting your websites. I’m using Bluehost for now. Use Github, Bitbucket or Heroku to host your Python and other software development projects.
Use your website to cultivate a global audience for your stories. What is your story? Get really good at telling your story. Learn how to use Krita, Gimp, Inkscape, Raw Therapee, Blender and Kdenlive to create art to go along with your stories.
The sooner you get started the better. Each one of these tools is a complicated piece of technology that will take some time to learn. Pick and choose the ones that enable you to accomplish your plan for your free enterprise. Improve yourself. Study. Learn. Teach. Add value to our one world wide economy. Make sure everyone you trade with, including yourself, gets a good deal.
Take care of your spiritual needs. Nurture your family well. They are the most important people in your life. Everyone is important. There is no such thing as an inferior or superior human being. Every human being, past, present and future; is a precious and noble creature.
Be mindful of your physical needs, including your body and your home. Do not litter. Do not use any mind altering drugs. Intoxication is toxic.
Be productive. Create something valuable and trade it in our one world wide free marketplace. Have fun, improving yourself and making the world a better place.
