Licensing

As I’ve written and said many times, I like capitalism and free and open source software for the same reason, free enterprise. I do not want a corporation controlling my enterprise, any more than I want the state controlling my enterprise.

Private property is a very elementary facet of capitalism and western civilization. Capitalism is the science of economics. The idea that no one owns the software may or may not be a good idea. Its definitely better than some corporation, other than my own private corporation, owning the software.

An ecosystem owned by the community, has the advantage of the whole community using the same operating system and other free and open source software, so that our computers are compatible with each other.

Respect the intellectual property of the people who produce it. I know that I would like to capitalize on my knowledge and skill. I’m not at all against intellectual property. I expect other people to take what I produce and improve it. Just like I’ve learned from others and am adding my own spin to the subject and adding value to the technology.

Be mindful of the licenses you are working with. Respect the rights of the people who’s work, you are working on improving. Remember, freedom is lawful, not lawless. Seek the truth. Follow the natural laws of economics, in order to be peaceful and prosperous.

Be fair. Money is a reasonable way to account for your private property. Learn how to manage your private property and account for your cash flow properly. Cultivate your own green thumb. Be creative and productive, not greedy or materialistic. Be responsible, accountable and spiritual in every detail of your life, including especially, your financial affairs.

Faith, honesty and trustworthiness are good ideas and productive activity. Your reputation is important. Make sure everyone you trade with, gets a good deal trading with you.

The idea that God rules every human heart and owns everything in heaven and earth is the most great attitude. Be productive. Add value to the natural resources and the private property around you and thank God for your peace and prosperity.
