21st Century Shaman

by Bob Mccoy

On Being a Wizard

I am a shaman. A wizard. I am not a doctor or lawyer. I do not have the academic education required to qualify as a doctor or lawyer and I am not trying to be a doctor or lawyer.

I am a teacher. A counselor. I’ve worked hard to recover from drug addiction, domestic violence, sexual misconduct and poverty. I intend to make it as easy as possible for anyone who wants to recover, do so. I have studied human nature and civilization and personal recovery for more than 30 years now.

I have a very advanced education and I use my knowledge to help anyone who wants help. I went to Idaho State University for a year, to learn how to be a drug rehab counselor. I got out of there when I realized they were trying to teach me that the education they were teaching me made me superior to the patient. They called it a power differential.

I have no interest in learning that I am more or less important than any other earthling. Putting doctors, or any other human being, other than the Manifestation of God, on a pedestal is insane and corrupt. I’ve studied science, history, philosophy and religion ever since I learned how to read.

My father was a psychic channeler. I did not know him very well, but he did demonstrate his ability to me one time. I do not practice any kind of witchcraft, magic or psychic channeling. I am interested in Qi Gong, Reiki and Shiatsu. And naturopathic medicine. I’m interested in holistic healing and teaching. I believe there is only one God.

I’m not sure if striving to be a shaman or wizard is acceptable in the Baha’i Faith. I know there is no clergy in the Baha’i Faith and I do not claim to be a Prophet of God. I do want to be a high performance servant of God. I want to be a shaman, a funny, entertaining, educational wizard. And, I want to be a Baha’i. I am practicing the Baha’i Faith to the best of my ability.

My Style

My teaching style is still fairly rough and clumsy. I’m practicing. Improving myself and my style. While my style is still relatively primitive, the content of my stories is valuable. I mix all the subjects together. The stories are not very exciting because, I am trying to make them gentle and non-controversial. I want to help you improve yourself, not agitate you.

There is valuable information in these stories. You will have to read, not necessarily all of the stories, but several of them, to get the benefit of the exceptionally advanced education within them.

And watch the videos. Be patient with my boring, repetitive story telling style. I am working on improving my style, but I admit, right now, I am not a very exciting public speaker. Read the stories and watch the videos to get a very advanced, entertaining education.

Another issue is, I am just learning how to use this technology. I’ve been studying computer science for most of my life. Like my natural healing education, my computer science education is mostly self directed, learning by reading and watching videos. I do have a small amount of academic education about both computer science and health care.

Mixing the subjects together like I do is an effective teaching strategy. Science, history, philosophy and religion are all one subject to me. I grew up on a farm. We had to be carpenters, electricians, plumbers and mechanics; in addition to being farmers. I’m communicating with your long term memory, in addition to your conscious mind.

My stories are intended to be a catalyst, designed to unleash your innate talents and interests, your creative freedom. Freedom is lawful. Find out what the divine rule of law is and practice that in your life. God makes the rules.
