I’ve been making good progress writing a book. I’m using several different AI applications to help me write the story. I’m learning how to use Latex for writing.

It’s complicated. Instead of using a wysiwyg, what you see is what you get, word processor, Latex is a programming language that requires a text editor that is specifically designed to process latex code. You can use Vim or Neovim to write Latex in your terminal, but I’m using KDE’s Kile editor.

It is fairly complicated, but once you get Latex and Kile installed and a basic document set up, it practically teaches you how to use it. There are a few things you need to know to get started, like setting up the premble and document structure, and then whenever you need to do something you haven’t done before, just search for the solution and the right answer is usually near the top of the search results.

Keep pressing forward. Use Latex and Kile to write books and other documents. I use Kubuntu Linux on my desktop. Right now, I’m using a tablet that I got with my smartphone to right this blog post. So now, I’m learning how to use Android.

The tablet is not very powerful. It seems more like a TV and gaming platform than a computer. But, I’m using it to write blog posts and edit the website, so we’ll see. I keep trying to move the mouse with the mousepad, but this tablet doesn’t have a mouse pad, it has a touch screen.

One of the things I’m working on is developing a productive work schedule. I’ve been so focused on writing the book that I have neglected blogging and maintaining the website. I write on the book at home on my desktop. I write on the website using this tablet, when I am out and about or here at my nightwatchman job. I’m here for 12 hours and I get a lot of research done and now, I’m starting to write blog posts.

One of the things I’ve learned in this whole process is that you need to be patient and make small improvements. Getting in the habit of writing a blogpost every week will help me get this website growing again.

I need to sign up for WordPress Pro for awhile, so I can get some live customer service so I can get the login and commenting setup. And get the website prepared for a store, where I can sell books, branded merchandise and home office stuff.

I’ve got to get the login and commenting set up so I can attract traffick. Get a steady flow of traffick, develop an online conversation and then, monetise the site.

Attracting traffick will be difficult. I started doing this desktop publishing and then, website development project precisely because I like to read abnd learn but I do not have any credentials. I’ve been told repeatedly that this is unrealistic. I’ve tried to avoid any gate keepers as much as possible.

I also like privacy. It’s the principle of respecting everyone’s privacy. I abhor spam and do not wish to impose my ideas and opinions on anyone.

I’ve been working all by myself because, I don’t want to get in any arguments or get in any trouble. I like working alone and with anyone interested in my stories. I’m developing a professional story telling business. I need an audience in order for the business to be profitable.

I have a desktop computer and printer and several old wornout laptops at home. I Have this tablet. I recomend getting the Galaxy 10 plus. This Galaxy 10 is too small. The 10 plus looks like it would be a lot more comfortable than this one. I’ll probably just get another laptop, but that will be expensive. I like getting the latest greatest technology.

I also have several good cameras, including a flying camera. I have a Samsung S22 and an S25, along with this S10 tablet. I also have a DSLR camera and a drone. I’ve used Kdenlive to make several videos for this website. My plan is to get in the habit of creating a book and a video every year.

I am recovering from some incredibly severe trauma. I have a world class, free and open source education. My teachers are people like Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, Adam Smith, William Marston, Jesus Christ and Baha’u’llah and many more. And I like telling stories and I like helping people.

I consider my audience to be anyone who is interested in my stories. I’m also very interested in helping 20 something people get a good start in life. Avoid the drugs.

I encourage people to take responsibility for your own recovery, your own life. At the same time, I encourage you to seek God and submit to His way. I used to think that I make the rules in my life was a good idea. Now, I understand that God makes the rules in my life. When I follow God’s rules, my life improves. I feel like God is my friend and I am on a great mission to serve God. When I follow my own selfish ambition and carnal desire, I feel ashamed and unworthy to serve God.

My most sincere wish is to be friends with God. In order to be friends with God I need to follow the rules He has revealed.
