Adapt
Well, I’m back to using Thunderbird for email. I had to pay about $11.00/yr to get an application called owl, so that I could connect my Microsoft Outlook up to Thunderbird.
Unfortunately, Kontact is broken again. I keep getting this notice
Failed to transport message. Mailbox unavailable. The server said: 5.7.1 Command rejected
I spent several hours searching the web trying to figure out how to fix it. I am still a big fan of KDE and I hope the bugs and instability of Kontact will be repaired soon. It always works fine for a month or so and then something like this happens. It just stops working.
Last time, it was some other similar problem. It must have something to do with an update that interrupts the synchronization between Kmail and the Linux email server. I don’t know enough computer science to fix it, yet.
For now, I’ll just keep using Mozilla Thunderbird which is a great tool, just like Mozilla Firefox. I’m using Mozilla FirefoxDE (Developer Edition) and now, Thunderbird, to establish a rock solid connection to our global cloud of artificial intelligence.
Konsole, Dolphin and Kate are all working flawlessly. I’ve been using them for more than 15 years now. It is just so disappointing that Kontact is still so unstable.
My favorite applications right now are
- Konsole
- Zsh
- Vim
- Dolphin
- Kate
- Firefox
- Thunderbird
My digital art tools are
- Gimp
- Inkscape
- Krita
- KColorChooser
- Blender
- Kdenlive
And many more…

Free Enterprise
Privacy, private property, self determination, free enterprise and free and open source education and technology are important facets of our future world of peace and prosperity for all human beings everywhere. Its happening on purpose.
Use free and open source software to help liberate your home office from both, the corporate domination of our economy and the pervasive deep state that has taken control of all human enterprise. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not an anarchist. I’m not a member of any political party. I am a classical liberal. I’m a nationalist and a globalist.
I want big businesses to thrive. They do things no small business can do, like build skyscrapers and jet planes, computers and the Internet. I want the government to enforce justice and establish a level playing field that enables large and small business to thrive and actively prevents any human institution from monopolizing power and control over any facet of our free enterprise economy.

Local Development Environment
Get your local development environment set up the way you like it. There are tools that specialize in doing one thing very well. There are other tools that come in sets, such as KDE’s Katepart tools and their Calligra home office productivity suite of tools. Its up to you to select and configure your development environment the way you like it.
Investigate the Linux file system and learn how to use your command line. Read literature and watch video tutorials about them. Practice using the tools. Spend a few years getting very familiar with Linux and then start using Linux to accomplish whatever it is you want to accomplish, using free and open source tools.
Make the world a better place. Add value to our one world economy. Capitalism, democracy and human rights are good ideas. The USA is my favorite nation. The United Nations is the richest greatest civilization in human history. We are all one global, space-faring federation of self governing nations. Let’s Go!
