You can spend your entire career working on one section of your stack of software. There’s your operating system. There’s your web development stack and you can focus on full stack web development or front end development or back end development. Then there’s block chain and artificial intelligence. You can focus on developing applications that run on your computer natively, rather than in your browser. You can develop applications for smart phones.
Definitely spend some time learning your operating system. Proprietary operating systems have the advantage of very advanced development by experts specializing in that particular operating system. Linux has the advantage of being customizable. You do need to have more expertise to use Linux effectively, but if you do spend the time learning how to use Linux, you have much more freedom to develop your own custom artificial intelligence.
Spend some time, and I mean years of time, working on your website development skill. HTML, CSS and Javascript are the languages of the front of the Internet, the part you see on your screen. PHP is the most popular language of the server side of the Internet. Python is another popular alternative to PHP and has the advantage of being much more popular for other computer science projects, like artificial intelligence.
Investigate C, C++, Python and QML to learn how to develop native applications and artificial intelligence. Be an artist. Create very high performance, beautiful, useful and valuable applications. It takes a lot of time and a lot of hard work. Learn how to hold and use these tools effectively. Read the manual. Practice using them.
The benefit of learning all this computer science is that you get to be in control of your own free enterprise. There is no editor who can tell you what to write. It’s also a good idea to build a great team. Cultivate a relationship with a natural health care provider, a law firm for when you need legal services, at least one computer science associate to help you keep up to date on the progressive development of computer science.
Once you get your system set up, you’ll want to learn how to use Gimp, Inkscape, Krita, Kdenlive and Blender and many other applications to create content for your website. Create a channel of beautiful, valuable content. Then monetize it. Add value to the Internet.
Get your whole family involved. Each one of you can specialize in a different specialty. Some may like the computer programming, some may like the artistry, others may like the business. Meet up and consult with each other and figure out what you all like to do and get to work creating your family’s online store, your channel of entertaining education.
If you are a single person, like me, then you’ll have to be a jack of all trades, a full stack developer, from your hardware to your operating system, your applications that run on your computer natively, your artificial intelligence and your full stack web development system. Its fun. Its interesting, complicated, challenging and it seems like the more you learn the more you need to know.
Keep learning. Keep working. Think about how your brain generates your mind. Now think about the connection between man and machine. Medical research is learning how to control machines just by thinking. Imagine flying around in your ufo, you control the ufo by thinking. Kind of like your clothing. You don’t have to tell your clothes to come with you, they do so automatically.
You just want to do something and the machine understands your thoughts and automatically does what you want it to do. Your house, your cars, your tools, will all be intelligent machines that can detect your brain waves and serve you in unimaginable ways. You’ll be able to have conversations with many of them.
This is why free and open source software is so valuable. I do not want some corporation or the government controlling my artificial intelligence. I prefer the MIT license. The GPL prevents anyone from owning the software. I like private property. I just want to own and control my own private property. I do not want it to be owned by the manufacturer or the government.
We’ve got to protect our private property and our free enterprise. Learn how to do so by investigating how your computers and the applications on them work. Learn how to operate them effectively. Its not easy. This is computer science. It is fun. Its like building hot rod cars back in the 20th century.
So, have fun, creating something beautiful and useful and valuable. Make the world a better place. Practice harmlessness. Do not litter. We’re building cities all over the earth, as fast as we can. Cities need to be safe, clean and decent to be sustainable. All the people of earth can and must be reasonably happy, healthy and wealthy in order for human civilization to be sustainable.
