Free and Open Source Agriculture
This article is about exactly what I am talking about. My browser presented this Bloomberg Businessweek article, by Peter Waldman and Lydia Mulvany, about the very subject I’ve been writing about.
Own your own means of production. Don’t let the manufacturer talk you into leasing equipment that they own and control. That is not free enterprise. It is not capitalism. It is national socialism.
I realize these giant corporations are very valuable and they have their advantages. The advantage of millions of individual, free agent family farmers, inventing new and better ways of doing things is the goose that lays the golden eggs in western civilization.
The bureaucrats are strangling the goose. The academic elite are ruining our civilization. Taking control of our economy is destroying our free enterprise.
We do need some controls. Building codes are a good idea. If we don’t control how many fish we harvest, we might eat all the fish and our descendants will starve. We need to maintain a clean environment.
We just need to be in control of our own free enterprise. There can be large fines for operating a machine inefficiently. We can regulate the economy well, without eliminating the free enterprise from our means of production.
This goes for farmers, computer programmers and any other specialist who uses software in their profession, which is just about everyone.
Build your own free and open source software platform using BSD or Linux. I’m starting to like BSD even more than Linux, even though I’ve never used it, yet, because of the limitations of the GNU Public License (GPL), which says no one owns the software.
Own your own means of production. Own your software stack. Capitalism is private ownership and private control of the means of production. National Socialism is private ownership of the means of production, controlled by the state, which is what we’ve had in the United States ever since Operation Paper Clip after World War II. Marxist Socialism is state ownership and control of the means of production.
Make America Great Again by rebuilding our capitalist economy and unleashing our free enterprise, again. Millions of small businesses and family farmers and creative artists can and will produce far more prosperity, for far more people, than any system controlled by bureaucrats.
We need the deep state. We just need the deep state to serve and protect the people and our free enterprise, instead of constantly trying to control us. God makes the rules. We need to follow the divine rule of law in our own life, including in our own free enterprise and we need our businesses and governments to respect the divine rule of law. God makes the rules.
