Family Values

God makes the rules. The divine law of marriage will never change. A man is the head of his family and his wife is his best friend and equal partner.

The marriage of one man with one woman is one of the most primal features of human nature and civilization, and it will last forever. Marriage is one of the most significant differences between a wild animal and a civilized human being.

Human beings usually make love face to face. Most animals do not. That eye to eye intimacy is important. One man and one woman grow together into one family. Children soon arrive and the family grows. This is human nature.

Families are the nucleus of human civilization. Family is the cause, civilization is one of its effects. Nurture your family. Meet all together at least once a week. Study the sacred writings of your religion, together with your family. Check and make sure everyone is okay.

Eat natural whole food together. Guests are welcome. It’s okay to miss your weekly gathering every once in a while, but do not make it a habit. Habitually meet with your family, for your entire life on earth.

Cultivate your family into a team. Work on your website together. Just like the family farmers of old, working together to produce enough food for yourselves and some extra to sell for a profit. Teach your kids how to be productive and how to manage and invest their money profitably.

Some of your kids will want to wander off, into some art or trade. That is fine. Just make sure they are being productive in some way and help them as much as you can. Teach them to buy assets. Own the means of production.

Prosperity happens on purpose. It is usually not an accident. Especially for northern tribes. We’ve had to work hard to survive, at least ever since the last ice age ended. Material prosperity is an important facet of your family values and your holistic home office. Work together as a team.

Working together with your family is natural and healthy and superior to working together with strangers in a corporation. Corporations are voluntary associations, or at least they should be voluntary. If they are not, then there is a serious problem.

Corporations are valuable. Team work is a good idea. Corporations do not replace the family, they extend the family. Practice family values in what ever company you work for. Practice family values no matter what your professional career is.

It’s interesting that in the context of a corporation, working with your family seems like some kind of corruption. I think that working with your family is a good thing, but if you value your family more or less than anyone else, then that is corruption.

I can see why people might think that hiring your family and friends would be corrupt, but I think that attitude is a mistake. We should hire our family and friends and have strict rules about treating everyone equally and harsh penalties for any form of corruption.

Practice family values in your professional career and in your business, your free enterprise. Everyone needs love and affection. Everyone is important. Make sure you teach your kids that no one is more or less important than anyone else.

Voluntarily following that divine law of marriage is an act of self discipline. While spirituality is probably the most primal human instinct, submission to God is a voluntary attitude. Selfish ambition is the dark side of human nature. Self discipline is a precursor of freedom.

Freedom, equality and justice for all are principles of the rule of law, not natural instincts. We have learned them, over many thousands of years of teaching and learning. Civilization is not an accident. It happens on purpose. Find a niche for yourself. Add value to society. Make the world a better place.

Wild and free are two entirely different things. Freedom is lawful, wild is lawless. Anarchy is unlawful. Real freedom is a result of voluntary submission to the rule of law. The divine rule of law is the natural laws of human nature. They are not man made.

Mob rules is just another form of the rule of man. Man made rules are inherently corrupt and unsustainable. Seek God. Voluntary submission to God’s will for you, is the ideal attitude for every human being. Teach your kids to seek the truth and to practice voluntary submission to the divine rule of law revealed by God. Gently.

God will not force you to believe anything. He doesn’t need anyone to believe in Him. Gently teach your kids the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help us all.
